Nude Nuns with Big Guns is exactly what its title suggests: a grindhouse-style, ultra-violent revenge tale loaded with sex, blood, and blasphemy. A self-aware entry in the exploitation genre, the film follows Sister Sarah (Asun Ortega), a nun who is drugged, abused, and betrayed by her corrupt clergy and a motorcycle gang. After a divine vision, she takes up arms and embarks on a brutal mission of vengeance.
With its exaggerated tone and over-the-top violence, the film delivers on genre expectations: stylized gunfights, lurid visuals, and a deliberately trashy aesthetic. The cinematography leans heavily on sepia filters and gritty textures, echoing the 1970s exploitation vibe. Ortega brings surprising intensity to her role, even when the material veers into outrageous territory.
